Shanghai
Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision announced the results of its quality supervision and inspection of shirt in Shanghai. This spot check inspected 53 batches of sample, while 46 batches are produced by local enterprise, 7 batches are produced by other provinces, and none of them were found to be unqualified.

This spot check was conducted according to "GB 18401 National general safety technical code for textile products", ”GB 5296.4 Instructions for use of products of consumer interest Instructions for use of textiles and apparel”, "FZ/T 01053 Textile-Identification of fiber content”, "GB/T 2660 Shirt and blouse”, "GB/T 18132 Silk garments”, etc. The key items inspected on these products are fiber content of lining and shell, formaldehyde content, pH value, colorfastness to dry rubbing, colorfastness to water, colorfastness to perspiration, banned AZO dyestuff and needle inspection.

Xi’an
The Xi’an Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision announced the results of its quality supervision and inspection of shirt on Aug. 27th, 2012. This spot check inspected 38 batches of sample and 1 of them was found to be unqualified.

The Xi’an textile fiber textile supervises the examination center was in charge of this testing. The key items inspected on these products are label, formaldehyde content, pH value, fiber content.

The main unqualified item was pH value.
